Commissions

A story made
with you.

A commission is not a standard session repeated for a new client. It is a body of photographs made in response to a particular person, gathering, home, journey, or place.

The approach

I begin with what is already meaningful: the way someone moves through their home, the rituals of a family gathering, the landscape surrounding a life, or the details another photographer might pass by.

I work quietly and give direction only when it serves the photograph. The finished work is edited as a connected story rather than a collection of poses.

People + private gatherings

Lives in context.

Portraits, family histories, reunions, dinners, milestones, and time together, photographed candidly with attention to both people and the spaces they inhabit.

Portrait commissions generally begin at $375.
Gathering commissions generally begin at $650.

Place + special projects

Stories rooted somewhere.

Travel, community, editorial, and creative work with a strong sense of place. These projects may unfold during a single visit or return to the same subject over time.

Special projects are proposed and quoted individually.

The process

Personal by design.

  1. 01

You share the person, place, or occasion and why it matters.

  2. 02

If the work feels aligned, we shape the idea, timing, and scope together.

  3. 03

You receive a written proposal covering the work, price, usage, and delivery.

  4. 04

The finished photographs are delivered as a carefully edited story within four weeks.

I take on only a small number of commissions. That gives each project room for preparation, presence, and a considered edit.
